We already know about the sleek little Asus Eee 1004DN netbook. Its big claim to fame is the fact that it’s the first netbook to cram an optical drive into the mix. The good news is that Asus has now begun shipping the 1004DN to consumers. The bad news is that the machine is only shipping in Taiwan. The machine sells for the equivalent of about $608. Other features include a fingerprint scanner, 1.66GHz Intel Atom N280 CPU, X4500M graphics, a 10.2-inch screen and 1GB of RAM. Visit http://www.i4u.com/article26065.html for more information.
