I have a friend who once had an American girlfriend. He met the girl inside a bar somewhere in town. The girl is kinda decent with how the way she moves, talks and behaves with people. She is also a degree holder, a once student writer and not to mention smart.
The relationship lasted only for two weeks. I was surprised to know how quick it was for my friend to end an affair [yes, he ended it], which looked very promising in the beginning.
I was inquisitive, although it was none of my business.
He told me these:
1. American girls must not be taken seriously in a relationship.
2. American girls will only play with you and you must play along with them.
3. They are not the type of girls who would commit seriously to a BF-GF relationship.
4. They easily get bored and will leave you anytime. If you are not prepared, you will find yourself alone and probably, wailing in a corner.
Is my friend right? Should American girls not be taken seriously in a relationship?

He obviously dated the wrong woman. It is wrong to generalize American women (or any others). Maybe you should suggest for him to stop picking up women in bars and go to Barnes and Noble instead. LOL

Yes, they are trouble, those American women. They are only for the brave at heart. As the saying goes, if you can't run with the big dogs, stay on the porch!
