I am very choosy in the kind of shampoo that I use for my hair. If I go for those bargain hair care products, I get dandruffs in a matter of days. I do not know why. Maybe my scalp is sensitive to the different chemicals that a shampoo contains.
Now that I am in the U.S., it is so hard to find the shampoo that I was used to using in the Philippines. It took quite a number of tries to finally settle with one brand.
Someone suggested that I should use a Spray Powder shampoo - for Black Shades. This Salon Grafix Spray Powder Shampoo, with its color match formula, is perfect for cleansing and refreshing the hair between normal shampoos or when on the go.
I checked the website and it says:
• Easily brushes off
• Leaves hair revitalized
• No white powder
• No oil residue
• Clean and shiny hair
I found out that the Spray Powder Shampoo is actually a dry shampoo. First time for me to hear such a kind. So what does a dry shampoo do?
Dry shampoos work by absorbing the excess dirt and oil that can leave hair looking dull or dirty. While you would not want to replace liquid shampoo with the dry version altogether, it is a great alternative in emergencies. Of course, this product does not totally get rid of build-up, especially that cause by styling products, but there are times when everyone would agree that something is far better than nothing. A dry shampoo is not just one but rather a variety of natural substances that, when applied to the hair in powder form and brushed out, provide gentle cleansing and sometimes extra sheen or fragrance. They are must-have items for anyone who flies frequently, camps, or for any other reason wants to freshen up their locks but cannot bathe.
Amazing, isn't it? Okay, let me try that Spray Powder shampoo now!
