Friendster, the popular social network, why is it so vulnerable to hacks? I have an account from Friendster and I am afraid that any moment my password would be stolen by some geeks somewhere.

Not so long ago, I wrote about "Friendster loving worms". The problem: my profile was hijacked by these so-called self-replicating computer programs. I requested for restoration and I was lucky that I got it back, however, without the customized layout anymore.

Maybe Friendster has solved the worm problem already. But what is this new buzz circulating about a Friendster hack that will use someone else' profile to post on bulletin boards and even post comments/testimonials?

One of my friends was a victim. She said:
I want you all to know that I did not post that previous bulletin entitled "Check It". It contains a link to a porn site. It is advisable for you not to click it for your safety. some geeks have gotten into the friendster system and did this. I have a few other friends too who posted the same bulletin and I'm sure they did not do it. Please help to stop this problem, otherwise Friendster will not be a safe site anymore.
Then just few minutes ago, someone posted comments on my profile - from a close friend, whom I am certain she never posted them herself. The comments have the same link that points to a porn site.I had just deleted the comments because I don't want anyone clicking the link when they visit my profile.

What is happening in here? Friendster must make sure we are in safe hands when we use their network. Don't you think so?
