The HP Mini 2140 netbook is now available in the U.S. This is way much better than the HP 2133 Mini-Note. According to few first reviews posted online, the battery life of the HP Mini 2140 could reach up to 7 - 8 hours with its 6-cell battery.
For a price of $499, you can get a HP Mini 2140 model with the following specs/features:

- 10.1 inch display
- 1.6GHz Intel Atom CPU
- 1GB of RAM
- 160GB hard drive
- 802.11a/b/g/draft-n
- Bluetooth 2.0
- Windows Vista Home Basic or WIndows Vista Business (downgrade to Windows XP is possible)

The HP Mini 2140 will be available in the UK for £379 next month. You can buy or order the HP Mini 2140 netbook from HP website.

Has anyone bought the extended-life battery? I was wondering if it's worth it.
