Zune 3.1 updates and flash Zune drops prices

Microsoft released lately the update for the Zune 3.1 that adds 3 new games: Space Battle, SuDoKu, and Checkers. The update also makes some stability and performance improvements, like eliminating some of the lag sometimes seen in the Zune hardware.

It is expected today, November 19th, that Microsoft will be announcing a small price cut on the Zune in time for the Christmas holidays or even Black Friday.

Price discounts apply only to the flash-based models.

- The 4GB - from US$129.99 to US$99.99
- The 8GB - from US$149.99 to US$139.99
- The 16GB - from US$199.99 to US$179.99
