My little brother who is taking his Masters degree in English with a major in Linguistics at the University of Santo Tomas (UST) in the Philippines asked me to do some research on articles about the English proficiency of Philippine call center agents.

It was hard to find scientific articles as the subject isn't so much studied in Philippine academia. I did find few links from the South Dakota State University library and few other links from Google Scholar.

I am sharing the links to you.

This is a a good source. Link.

This one is also very helpful. It is an e-book.

Better contracting services needed at call centers. Link.

Here is another one. Link.

This is a study about Philippine English. Then below you can find other links pointing to articles related to it. Very good find, indeed! All articles can be read in full text (click full text PDF).

This is also very good-- a review of the English-Tagalog mixing.

Enjoy reading everyone.
